Outside of philosophy, my major interests include yoga (practicing & teaching), nature stuff including gardening, & cats.
Hi! I'm an assistant professor of philosophy at the University of Miami (FL).
My research spans a number of topics, including: perception, representation, computation, and the origins of intentionality; intentional action, action errors, and practical knowledge; memory (especially episodic), trauma, constructivist cognitive ontology, and epistemic injustice; scientific representation and cognitive biological functions.
I'm working with some terrific grad students and I believe every philosopher should be a friend to cats.
